I also congratulate and thank to all parents on taking the right decision of choosing MPCOE as career destination for your ward's professional career.
Well, Why Engineering? What is the role of engineers? What is expected from the students in next four years? There are many questions that must be lingering in your mind. Let me answer, Engineering means application of scientific and mathematical learning into applications; and the people who do this are called 'Engineers'. In very simple words, the role of engineers is to make people's life simpler while ensuring no compromise on lifestyle, safetyand nature.
Situated besides the Arabian Sea and natures lap, MPCOE ensures the most dedicated and excellent place to study upon, where students will get opportunity for 'focused approach' of learning with experienced academicians and engineering professionals.
MPCOE is an establishment of Vidya Prasarak Mandal (VPM), Thane, which is in the field of education since 1935. MPCOE came into existence in year 2012 and since then there is no coming back. Within this short span of 10 years, MPCOE has spread its wings across the globe through the student community. MPCOE is the youngest engineering college which was accredited by NAAC in its first cycle in year 2019. The legacy of MPCOE was also certified by Asia Today Research & Media, when it received prestigious 'Most Admired Engineering College in Maharashtra' award in 2022.
Sprawled over 35 acres of lush green campus, MPCOE is equipped with all possible facilities for world class engineering education. Along with academic infrastructure, MPCOE has new age living hostels with all essential and vibrant facilities that include some unique features like rooms with attached bathrooms, 24 Hours hot water system, 24 hours electricity, High speed internet connection etc. The quality of food and health & hygiene are most priority within the hostel mess. Indoor sports facility with state of art Gym is added to ensure the modern lifestyle. Spacious canteen and in-house theatre ensure the leisure time recreation and entertainment for students. With the back bone of strong and experienced research oriented faculty; MPCOE is engaged in providing students very professional and industry specific education with the help of rich and state of art laboratories. Along with classroom teaching, students are also involved in 'real time' and 'industry' specific projects.At MPCOE students will inculcate in Best of Engineering education with focus on their intellectual skills like Creativity, Simulation, Problem Solving, adaptability.
Being the graduates is not only learning through bookish knowledge. A graduate deliberately has to possess certain qualities like leadership, attitude, approach, Interpersonal skills, Communication, Teamwork, Social Responsibility, Respect and many others. We at MPCOE offer various field based activities like Annual cultural & sports fest, NSS camps, Social Services, Students Chapters, Interactions with eminent people, Health camps, Safety weeks through which students build and develop these skills through practical learning
